Welcome to Nursery & Pre-Journey Kids!

Nursery Ministry is a ministry for infants and toddlers up to age 2. We will provide your child with physical care and spiritual training in a fun, safe environment. We believe that even our littlest ones can learn! Our curriculum by Gospel Light implements creative play to introduce Jesus through games, music, puppets, and engaging activities that use simple supplies. There are also take-home resources to connect church and home to better equip parents to disciple their children at home.

Pre-Journey Kids is a ministry for toddlers and preschoolers ages 2-5. 

Our toddler/preschool ministry exists to partner with parents to disciple children about who God is and who they are in Him. We currently use the Gospel Project curriculum which dives deep into the big story of the Bible and focuses on God’s plan to rescue His people through His Son, Jesus Christ. Being secure in God’s character, it is our prayer to see children trusting in Him and treasuring Him as their greatest reward, despite their circumstances. It is our heart’s desire to see children grow in knowledge and love for Jesus and love others with His love.

JOF CHILD WELLNESS POLICY

 

In order to insure a safe and healthy environment for your children and the children’s ministry staff and volunteers, parents should not bring their child to church if he or she have or have had any of the following symptoms within the last 24 hours: 

 

  • Fever of 100 degrees or more
  • Vomiting or diarrhea
  • Continuously runny nose
  • Excessive cough
  • Undiagnosed rash
  • Any symptoms of childhood illnesses such as: chicken pox, strep throat, pink eye, RSV, etc. 
  • Use of antibiotics for 24 hours or less
